My only question is how and when did they know about game sprite mode for their icons. That bugged me a bit. How did they get it, if Mouse only formated Andrea's icon. How did he and Frisket get the alt function? I kind of wish they mentioned it in the same scene, but still saying that it was an untested aspect as well. Would that give it away that the characters survive? Maybe thats why they didnt mention it.

I just love the rendition of the Mortal Kombat theme in the Game Over episode, and how it wasn't goofy but appropriately the difficult game used for Enzo to lose in. Then of course he's fighting, well Satan and the game referencing, Heaven, Hell and Earth with its characters. Its pretty deep.

I always really liked this season because it really gave Enzo actual characterization that was long overdue from how annoying I thought he was in Season 1. Where he actually is a factor in the plot and trying to contribute to the conflict resolution proactively instead of just being the kid hanging around, but I do like that instead of it being teated like a character retcon, it was just development. Then in Season 3 he's more of a kid guardian and not the annoying tag along kid. Him also failing to be a guardian is also where I love that the writers actually took the plot seriously and realistically with the circumstances of the story. There was really no way for Enzo to beat Megabyte on his own as a guardian, but I enjoyed watching him mature, actually show competence in games, while wanting to be like Bob. Especially in the first S03 episode.

There is a line in games collide that bugged me, where Bob off handedly talks about why Megabyte wanted to steal game energy because "its the only energy that--" Bob gets cut off and its never answered in the series.

Also the difficulty of the computer actively working against you with intelligent in this case enemies in the game such as the characters from reboot that does play into the fact that back in the day of like the '90s video games are incredibly difficult and felt like they were almost programmed to ensure that you couldn't beat them to ensure replayability value for the consumer. Also this whole concept in general is not that unusual back in the '90s when you wanted to play what were the most graphic intensive games your computer would lag out it would stutter it would suffer problems if you did not have the best technology possible we still have this to this day. Go and put dark tide on any computer that was not made within the last 2 years. See how well that will run on that system.

To me I say Reboot's episode "Game Over" is just as heart breaking as Beast Wars episode "Code of Hero" Also I never understood the line "be seeing you" in the episode "Number 7"

Absolutely hated the graphics in the 2 movies, characters were over expressive and looked like they were all on drugs when they talked. They should have stayed with season 3's style.

CG was at its best in Season 3, got weird after that.

One thing that bugs me about the show to this day is that we don't get to see where Matrix gets his new eye and gun. I'm guessing he somehow downloaded the Renegade program update. But where and how would he have come across such a program and why did he even consider changing from a Guardian into a renegade
